Difference between Obj-vallidate and Declarative Rules:


=>Declarative  Rules Will be called on Refresh Of the Screen.
Where as Obj-vallidate  is Getting invoked on Submit Button

=>Declarative Rules Being Called On selection Properties where as the obj-vallidate is up to a flow Action

Using vallidation's Rules We can vallidate Single Or Multiple Properties

=>There are 2 Types of Vallidations in PRPC

1.Obj-vallidate
2.Edit-vallidate

1.Obj-vallidate:

 It is An Instance Of Rule-obj-Instance using we can Vallidate Multiple controls of a Particular 

Flow Action On 'Submit'Button

=>This Rule Can be Categoried Under Process category

Right click on class Group  - New -Process-vallidate

Declare  Constraints:

It is Used To  Vallidate Multiple Properties ,But Here The Vallidation's One Property Depends On another Property


Example:


First name ,Last Name Vallidation Using Constraints


Class Group----New-----Decision ----Declare Constraints



When.Last name=First Name


Require That .Last Name !=.First Name

Else Add Message "First Name and Last Name Should not Be The same "To.Last name

=>Save The Declare constraints

=>Go to Section Last name Property Behaviour On changeEvent.

=>Save And Run The Flow.

Whenever there is change In Source Property Value ,Target Property Value Will be Updated Automatically Declare Expression Rules are Used To Perform Automatic Calculation


Scenario:

=>Calculate The Total Loss From Individual Loss Using Declare Expression

Total Loss=Loss1+Loss2+Loss3

=>Create 3 Properties 

=>Next  Create  Declare Expression 

Set .Total Loss= Value Of Loss1+Loss2+Loss3

Save The Declare Expression

Set  Property Behaviour =On change  
Event= Onchange

Refresh the Section 

=>Next Create Flow Action And Flow

=>After Save and Run The Flow
